Welcome! 👋

Welcome to our CET Design system! We are thrilled that you've found your way here. Here, we aspire to equip you with the knowledge to craft interfaces that benefit everyone. Your presence is a valuable part of our community – let's explore and build together for a better user experience.

What is a design system?

Our design system is like a toolbox for CET. It's a set of rules and elements that help us make everything look and feel the same way. It's a shared guide for designers and developers, making it easier to create things and ensuring everything looks good and works well for our users.

Recommended vs required

We recognize that following extensive documentation can be challenging. You may wonder how much flexibility you have and how to align the guidelines for your extension and projects.

To simplify this, we've introduced two categories: Required and Highly Recommended.

Required: Following the required guidelines is mandatory

Highly recommended: Following these guidelines is not mandatory, but doing so will improve the user experience.

You’ll find these labels at the top of each article under Foundation and Content Design. For the Components, please make sure they are used as specified, without changing how they function. Only minimal customization is allowed, since larger changes could affect consistency and functionality.

Feedback

We'd love to hear from you! If you come across any issues, have ideas for improvements, or just want to share your experience, please reach out. Your thoughts help us make our design system better. Use our feedback channels to share – every comment is highly valued!

You can send feedback on each page by clicking the feedback button on the right. This opens a modal where you can enter your feedback, up to 255 characters. If you have more to say, feel free to attach a document with additional feedback using the attachment feature. Providing your name and email is optional, but it helps us reach out to you if we have further questions.
